Apparently leg day had a life lesson.

Hey there,

So I’m getting ready for the gym and my inner thighs are still reminding me that Friday happened.

Loudly.

I pushed myself pretty hard during leg day, and a few days later I’m stretching those same muscles thinking:

Okay… how do I make them work like that again?

Because we know the basic process.

You challenge the muscle.

It breaks down...It recovers...It grows stronger.

Stretch. Tear. Rebuild. Grow.

And suddenly I thought…

Wait.

Doesn’t that sound familiar?

Life does the same thing.

Sometimes we’re stretched.

Sometimes something breaks down.

Then we need space to recover, understand what happened, and rebuild.

And eventually?

We move again.

Pause. Reflect. Go.

Growth isn’t always comfortable.

Apparently sometimes it also hurts when you sit down.

But discomfort doesn’t automatically mean something has gone wrong.

Sometimes it means something is being strengthened.

And since it’s Halloween week, we’ve been having a little fun around here too. We decorated the house a bit more than usual, and I’m actually excited to see the trick-or-treaters this year because at our old house… we basically had none.

So yes, I’ll be stretching sore legs and answering the door with candy. Balance.

💬 If you're in one of those stretch-and-rebuild seasons, the KCC app gives you a digital place to pause and get some of those thoughts out while you're moving through it.

Stretching. Rebuilding. And determined to give away ALL the candy.
