Hey there,
The whole world’s hitting reset right now, but that doesn’t mean you need to sprint into “new year, new me” mode.
Sometimes the best way to start the year is by coming back to yourself — gently, honestly, and without turning self-care into another performance. Happy New Year to you! 😏

Let’s talk about something that doesn’t get enough airtime:
When self-care — the thing that’s supposed to fill your cup — starts feeling like just another checkbox on your never-ending list.

You sit down to “do something for yourself”…
and instead of feeling rested, you feel like you're being graded. 👀

Meditated? Not long enough.
Skincare? Missed a serum.
Journaling? You didn’t go deep enough.
Ugh.

Can we not?

Because self-care was never meant to feel like performance art.

Sometimes real care looks like:

  • Cancelling plans because you’re over it

  • Journaling two words and calling it good

  • Crying in the car, then grabbing fries on the way home

  • Saying “no thanks” to the curated rituals and doing what actually makes you feel human again
