So… what are we actually working toward?

Hey there,
So let me be honest for a second…

I’ve been avoiding something.
Something simple. Something important.

My goals.

Not because I don’t have dreams.
Not because I don’t want more.

But because sitting down and actually writing them out?
That requires clarity. Commitment. A little courage.

And apparently… I’ve been dancing around that part. 💃🏽

But here’s what I had to admit to myself:

If I don’t know what I’m working toward…
how am I expecting to get anywhere?

Like really.

I’ve been moving, doing, creating — all good things —
but without clear direction, it starts to feel like motion without progress. And that’s where that stuck feeling creeps in.

Not because you’re not capable.
But because you’re not being specific.

And I get it…

Writing goals down makes it real.

Now there’s something to follow.
Something to measure.
Something to show up for.

No more “I’ll figure it out later.”
Now it’s: what am I actually building here?

So here’s what I’m doing (and maybe you need this too):

I’m sitting down and getting clear.

Not perfect. Not polished. Just honest and specific.

Because clarity creates direction.
And direction? That’s what turns effort into progress.

I know, I know, it’s basically the middle of the year now but there’s still plenty of time left to make some moves (Please God!).

And with Mother’s Day around the corner, I want to take a moment to acknowledge something…

My mom was actually the first person who ever got me thinking about my hopes and dreams.
Way before I was ready to sit down and write goals or get clear on anything — she was planting those seeds.

And even though I didn’t always act on it right away (clearly 😅),
those early conversations stayed with me.

So this is a quiet little thank you to her —
for starting the dialogue, for seeing something in me early,
and for reminding me that there was always something worth striving toward.

Moms really do be knowin’!

Happy Mother's Day to my mom and to all the moms out there. 💝

💬 If getting your thoughts out of your head and onto paper feels harder than it should be…
that’s exactly why I created the Clarity Journal — to help you organize what you’re thinking and turn it into something you can actually move on.

And if confidence is the thing holding you back from even setting those goals?
The 7-Day Confidence Reset can help you build that muscle, one small step at a time.
